My name is Leonardo Amora Leite, (1976), and I work for entertaiment industry for a long time, since 1995, I already worked in different areas. My first job was with Video Edition and Post Effects for a local television, after Graphic Design, my graduation, a long, long jorney. In January of 2006 I move for Porto Alegre and I began working for the first game company in Brazil, Southlogic. It was there that I had the opportunity to unleash all my creativity. I worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, conceptual artist and finally as a Game Designer. Serving Ubisoft our company Southlogic developed the Wedding Designer, a game for Nintendo DS, I worked as a game designer and illustrator, my first pixel art task. The game sold over 1 million copies, and with this achievement Ubisoft bought our studio.
In the fall of 2010 Ubisoft end the two game development studios here in Brazil. At this time I had everything to leave my country, but the truth is, It’s not where you live, it’s your desire to do it! And in January 2011 I founded the amoraleite.com, a company focused on art, design ideas and game development. From the begin of the amoraleite.com to today, I conquest 5 nacional awards of game development about entrepreneurship, each contest with an average of 250 registered groups (about 1000 people per contest). As Art Director, I conceived the art and illustrated many comercial games for many companies, include the big ones of the Brasil. As indie game developer, in my last count are about 30 games developed by me, all my own ips.
